COVID Vaccine
I am so proud of my city, Lincoln, Nebraska.
There are probably hundreds of reasons for this—and probably dozens of good ones—but I’m seriously impressed with the way they’ve done the COVID vaccines over the last couple of years.
I know it’s not popular these days to try to raise a cheer for government, but I am very happy with this crew. From my original vaccine through all of the boosters covering the various variants there was never a time when I didn’t know where to park, which door to go through, where to stand, what was going to happen next, what forms to fill out and where to stand or sit while waiting.
Kathie and I got our COVID boosters today and the whole process couldn’t have been any better. I mean, it wasn’t like going to a movie or football game or anything like that, but for going to get a shot in the arm it was a terrific afternoon! We had so much fun we went and got our flu shots when we were done.
